I was born and raised in Montreal, a rare east-side Anglo, and grew up living in an urban commune until I was almost nine years old.  From an early age, I had a strong interest in cultural history, and a particular fetish for studying chronology and memorizing dates, which would come in handy later on when astrology came along…

Astrology discovered me on the morning of January 17, 1995, when I read my first book on the subject.  I already had a strong interest in biographies and general history, so I was impressed by the mini-ephemeris that was included in the back of the book, which allowed me to see for myself how planetary transits paralleled life events so closely.  By the end of that year, I had read dozens more astrology books and decided I wanted to learn everything I could about this curious phenomenon.

In 1997 I began taking classes and exams with the New York City chapter of the National Council for Geocosmic Research (NCGR), achieving the Level III certification in March 1999.  In October 2001, I began working as a full-time astrological consultant for the U.K.-based Astro Livelink phone service, while gradually developing a private practice on the side.

I’ve written articles for StarIQ.com, astrologyforthesoul.com/creativelives and most recently have been posting astrology-related blogs on my page at myspace.com/stellardweller.  The blog section of this new website will serve to consolidate the best of my old material and feature all of my new stuff as well.

Using my lifelong interest in cultural history, I have developed a software database of over 20,000 event charts, derived from both historical and biographical studies spanning two millennia (though most of it is modern), which can be used to research any number of astrology-related areas. This database includes dozens of very date-detailed biographical subjects, drawn exclusively from general history and usually spanning the entire lifetime. Consequently, I have been able to investigate matters at a level of detail and volume that would have been impossible to do not long ago.
